Activate Business is a team of business people and professionals who attend activate church. The department leader is Paul Derham. The team exists to support business people and professionals in their careers and to provide opportunities for them to invite their un-churched colleagues along to excellent skills workshops and related events. The department operates under the name Vision Advancement.

There are three things you can do if you’re a business person or a professional, and if you’d like to get involved or find out more :

1. Attend one of our Skills Workshop Business Breakfasts. Come along and bring a colleague!

• How to brand your business
• How to sharpen your negotiation skills
• How to organise yourself and get things done

3. Pray for each other We have monthly prayer meetings (and sometimes coffee and breakfast, too) in the city. The primary purposes of the prayer meeting is to pray for each other and encourage each other to be missional in our workplaces.
